The most fascinating part of Cimarron is the incredible view when reaching the highest point of the hike. On a sunny day, it is possible to view Colorado and Oklahoma from it. After the hike, you can settle down on the endless camping ground and have a picnic or go fishing. A small RV is perfect for this campsite.
Dorothy’s House Museum
What is going on a trip through Kansas without experiencing the Wizard of Oz? Making Dorothy’s House Museum in the city of Liberal a travel destination is a must. After arriving, you will be lead down Yellow Brick Road by a visual aide and tour guide, whom will help summarize the story, while the guide points out the smaller details. While there, you can see Dorothy’s Farmhouse, Toto, and all of the other characters that made the Wizard of Oz one of the greatest classics ever. A trip to see the wizard is one you won’t forget.
